Marathon, SMC
This Marathon Cylinder has been especially designed for thin, flexible materials
that are to be printed in large batches with a high print quality. Low-drag and
high-speed capabilities are combined for wide application printing - from
lotteries to spot varnishing and clear coating of offset-printed stock.
The angle access system of the Marathon is the first low cost answer to cleaning
and inspection of the screen and cylinder without affecting the register, while
increasing overall productivity on the press. The Marathon is a
swing-back-cylinder press that works with a counter-pressure surface formed like
a sector of a cylinder and with an accurate register control.
